Walking The Talk Foundation is inviting the community to join us for a 5km fundraising walk at Ruimsig Stadium.
The event will take place on Sunday, 1 November 2026, starting at 08:30. Funds raised will help Monument Primary School complete its sports arena.
Monument Primary School serves around 1 200 learners. The sports arena structure is complete, but funding is still needed for the walls, windows and doors.
The completed arena will give learners a space for sport and recreation, while supporting health, teamwork, discipline and sporting development.
The event will include food, refreshments, activities and prizes. We aim to welcome 3 000 to 5 000 participants.
The first 200 registered participants will receive a branded cap, water and access to the activities.

Businesses and organisations can support the project through our sponsorship packages. Sponsorship opportunities include brand exposure, corporate social investment, employee wellness, team building and community upliftment.
A Section 18A certificate is available for qualifying sponsorships and donations.
Walking The Talk Foundation has previously held fundraising walks for West Park School in KZN and Galway Primary School in Germiston. These events showed what can be achieved when communities work together.
Join us on 1 November and help us complete the sports arena at Monument Primary School.
